For the Kosher traveler who is tired of planning

Kosher Active Vacations

Book Your Active Vacation Now!

After taking a hiking trip in North Carolina with my wife, Andra, during the summer of 2021, KAV—Kosher Active Vacations—was born.

We realized that there are many adults looking for an active, fun, and simple vacation option, one that includes all the necessary requirements for the kosher traveler: lodging, kosher meals, minyans, Shabbat accommodations, programming, transportation to a range of activities, and professional guides.

Our inaugural trip will allow participants to enjoy a beautifully unique part of the Finger Lakes Region.  Hiking will be available on multiple levels so each member of the group can enjoy!  Plans include opportunities to fish, kayak, and play in the waterfalls. On Friday, we plan to enjoy a number of local sites and museums around the Finger Lake Region, and on Shabbat, participants will have the unique opportunity to relax and truly reconnect with nature, physically and spiritually, in a warm Hemaish environment.

Upstate Adventure Guides will be running the activities for the week. Check them out at www.upstateadventureguides.com

Our primary accommodation and home base will be 18Vine and our secondary accommodation will be The ParkInn. Mickey Montal will be KAV caterer. Mickey has been in the food service profession for over 50 years and has been the caterer for Elite Passover Tours for over two decades.

KAV's first trip will be in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State from Tuesday, July 19th – Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. The cost of the program is $3300 per person double occupancy and $3900 single occupancy, not including transportation to/from the program.

*Participants must be vaccinated*

Kosher Active Vacations will take care of you from when you show up at our accommodations until you depart. All you have to do is enjoy!
